Telling Leonora’s story is a way to bring attention to the plight of ethnic minorities, of ROMs, women and people with disabilities. It is also a way to highlight prejudice, which will be overcome by the tenacity and openness of people dedicated to the most fragile. Society desperately needs positive examples centered on the dignity and worth of all human lives.
